When I think of Croatia I always relate to the Adriatic Sea. This is the most beautiful, clean sea you could ever wish to see. The coastline and Islands are very beautiful. There is alot of nature to admire. If you go to somewhere like Plitvice Lakes you will understand. The food in particular the Scampi from the Kvarner region and the Prosut from coastal areas is very nice, and if you are in Ston try the oysters they are mouth watering . The people are friendly and welcoming but some do find the tourists a little too much. There is alot of history and mystery in Croatia.... Check it out for yourself.

I have been a multiple visitor to Croatia and mainly the island of Korcular. I love the atmosphere, culture and landscape, but I feel that the people can be unapproachable and not welcoming to visitors. I realise they sometimes must tire of people on the doorsteps. They must also realise that tourism brings money into their community.

I think in a new country with great prospects for the future. This is to learn from the mistakes of other European countries and the mistakes of the past. I would like to live in Croatia and help in the future.

Dear Sir, This may seem pedantic but in the story about the textile company in Imotski there are two mistakes: normally "bankrupt" refers to individuals and instead of "dismissed" it should read that the workers "were made redundant". "To be dismissed" is the result of "misconduct" or "poor performance".
