Snakes Alive

croatiantimes.com

Chinese man You Wang, 31, has become a tourist attraction at a park in Changzhou city, in east China’s Jiangsu province, after taking his pet python for a daily stroll.

He drapes the pet over his shoulder as it proved to be too slow when on a lead.

And on hot days he lets the yellow Burmese python take a swim in the man-made lake there.

Police who investigated said they were unable to act act as the 8foot, 20 kilo snake was non poisonous.

But a vet warned that the pet was one that had a weak immune system - and that if the visits continued and the temperatures did not match its tropical homeland it would most likely quickly get sick and die.
