Swimmers ran for cover when a new type of Jaws took over a beach in northern China - attached to a 15ft python.
The 120lb snake - which could swallow a human arm whole - was brought to the coast in Dalian, Liaoning province, by its owner Che Lin who allowed locals to stroke it once they'd recovered their nerve.
After a brief dip, the giant reptile's owner brought the beast back to the shore to dry off in the sun.
"The snake was actually quite docile but it wasn't what you expect to see when you're relaxing at the beach," said one swimmer.
