A terrified trucker fled when his load of tons of straw burst into flames as he was driving on a motorway in Uzwil, Switzerland.
Police believe a discarded cigarette or a diesel leak may have caused the blaze.
Eye witness Matthias Meier said: "There was a huge explosion and then burning straw floated down from everywhere."
A police spokesman added: "The driver Manfred Moser escaped unhurt and we are investigating the cause."
