It may not have all the mod cons, but this bizarre cave home in central China certainly has one heck of a rock garden.
The cave - set into a mountainside near Lichuan, Hubei province - has been home to real-life caveman Xiang Liming and wife Ni Yuanhui for 60 years and they've turned down countless invitations to move to somewhere more comfortable.
Liming - now 78 - explained: "I moved her as a child with my parents when they had no money and no home and we made it as comfortable as we could."
"I met and fell in love with Yuanhui soon after and after I managed to convince her parents, we married, moved in, and we're still here," he added.
The couple's three children have gradually modernised the cave - with electricity, running water, a bathroom and even satellite TV.
"We grow our own food and raise our own pigs and chickens. We don't watch much TV. If we want to see something spectacular all we have to do is look out of the window," said Liming.
"We don't need to move. We'll stay here until we die and then they can just seal the door up with rocks," he added.
