Bosnian minister rejects plans for Peljesac Bridge

Croatia’s plans for building a new bridge to bypass Bosnian-controlled Neum have been criticised by Bosnia's Transport and Communication minister. Minister Damir Hadzic told daily newspaper Dnevni Avaz that despite recognising Croatia’s desire to connect the two parts of its country, the Peljesac Bridge project would prevent larger ships from entering Neum bay. His comments follow Croatian authorities saying the bridge would be 35 metres high, 20 metres lower than first planned.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
Representatives of the Governments of Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a memorandum highlighting their intention to construct two new pipelines - the Trans-Adriatic (Trans Adriatic Pipeline, TAP) and the Ionian-Adriatic (Ionian Adriatic Pipeline, IAP), the news agency RIA Novosti reports.
