Wedding Bling

croatiantimes.com

Thousands of would be brides have flooded a marriage bureau - after it advertised to find partners for 35 billionaires and millionaires in southern China.

Organisers - who staged a weekend of speed dates in Changsha, Hunan province - say the wealthiest of the tycoons is worth more than 2 billion GBP.

"These are very wealthy men and that means they have very stringent requirements," said one organiser from the wedding bureau CECS.

Girls have to be virgins, no older than 28, university educated, beautiful and taller than 5ft 4 inches (165cms) just to get through the first round.

"After that there are aptitude tests for etiquette, intelligence, suitability to move in that sort of world, and grooming and only then to they get to meet their potential husbands.

"Some people say it's a strange way to meet a partner but these are busy men and they are always short on time," added the CECS adviser.
