When this wild boar set his sights on a pig money prize, nothing was going to stop him from getting his snout in the trough.

So when he smashed his way into a lottery ticket seller's shop in Fuzhou, Fujian province, eastern China, it took police and wildlife experts more than two hours to get him out.

Customers fled screaming as the 350lb boar rampaged around around the building eating up tickets.

"He was rummaging through boxes of scratchcards and tickets like he was looking for something special," said stallholder Chen Sun, who says the damage will cost 5,000 GBP to repair.

Animal handlers eventually caught the wild pig when they tempted him into a cage with food.

"We think he had been drawn into town because he was hungry and looking for food.

"He ate his way through quite a few tickets so, who knows, there could be a fortune sitting in his stomach," said one.
