Brent Wright faces dismissal from Cibona basketball club

Croatian Times

American basketball player Brent Wright could be dismissed from the Cibona Zagreb basketball club because he missed yesterday’s (Sun) game with Dubrovnik.

Wright did not arrive on schedule on a flight from Zagreb to Dubrovnik on Saturday, which worried his club, but the Croatian media have reported Wright spent the night before in a night club at a party. Because of that, many assumed he did not awaken on time and then broke club rules.

Wright’s fellow player Alan Anderson was also at the party, but he arrived on time on the Saturday flight, the "Spotske novosti" website has reported.

It is not the first time Cibona coach Velimir Perasovic has been faced with lack of discipline among his players this season. Perasovic has already dismissed Damir Markota for breaking club rules.
