Serbedzija to act in seventh Harry Potter film

Rade Serbedzija, known both as a Hollywood and a Croatian-born actor and director, will have a role in the seventh "Harry Potter" film.

Serbedzija shared the news with the media during the Zagreb Jewish Film Festival being held from 24 to 28 May.

His role would be small but very interesting, Serbedzija said.

He said: "I am going to play the role of a wizard who makes swords with special power. I will soon go to London to try on my costume."

Shooting of the new film will start in November.

British author J. K. Rowling has written seven Harry Potter novels.
