It's a battle for one of the biggest titles in the world, and only one man can win - by a very short head.
Two rivals are bidding for the title of the world's shortest man after the tragic death of former holder, China's He Pingping, who measured just 2 ft 5 inches.
Rival Wu Kang, 22, from Wuhan, eastern China, had already set his sights on the Guinness World Records title before He's death after releasing a claim he was nearly seven inches shorter than his idol.
Now he's facing a counter challenge from Nepalese-born teenager Khagendra Thapa Magar who also claims to be just 22 inches tall.
Magar - known as the Little Buddha in his country - tips the scales at just 13 pounds and has asked Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to weigh in to back his claim.
Guinness bosses have agreed to study his claim when he turns 18 in October and officially becomes a man.
"Kang is determined to press his claim as soon as he can as he is the true, legitimate title holder," said one family friend.
