Three-year-old singer sets eyes on world records

An Indian girl is hoping to make it into the Guinness book of records as the youngest professional recording artist after she finished her first album aged just three. The youngster Attithi KC can still not read or write - but easily memorises all the lyrics to her songs and often changes or improves tunes. Her father, Nepal's music composer Uddhab KC, said: "She is easily the youngest recording artist in the world and we have already written to the Guinness Book of World Records. "She has actually been singing since she was two years old and doing live shows, but now that she has done her album we decided to write to Guinness." He said that the album meant that his daughter was now able to take the title from the previous youngest singer, a Moldova-born Romanian singer called Cleopatra who recorded an album when a few months older in 2006.
