Pink Panzer Gang

croatiantimes.com

German cops are hunting the Pink Panzer gang - anti-war protesters who broke into a controversial military museum in Germany and painted a tank pink.

The heavily armoured panzer loaded on a transporter was originally military green but after the weekend attack at the Museum in Munster ended up completely pink.

The museum which only recently opened has attracted criticism for glorifying war.

But museum managers say that they want to offer visitors the opportunity to take a critical and open look at all aspects of modern warfare.

A museum spokesman said: "We don't glorify war – we presented in an honest and open way and encourage dialogue and discussion. Apparently that hasn't however struck a chord with all of our visitors."

The attackers broke in over the weekend when the museum was closed overnight to carry out the attack. Police say they are investigating but at the moment have no clues as to who was a member of the Pink Panzer gang.
