Fast Food

Fast food van driver Jan Schulze, 73, was killed when he was hit by a speeding Porsche after it crashed over central reservation and hit his vehicle head on at Wetzikon in Switzerland.

The driver of the Porsche Cayenne, 43-year-old Stefan Hirsch, survived but was badly hurt and taken by air ambulance to a local hospital.

The road was closed for several hours in both directions as the police and fire brigade cleared up the rubbish that was left when fast food van was completely destroyed in the crash.

Even the freezer used to store frozen burgers and sausages ended up scattered a hundred yards away from the main body of the vehicle.

Police are investigating why the Porsche thundered over the grass central reservation to hit the van head-on.
