Fall Guy

croatiantimes.com

A party goer who fell 80ft to his death was being lowered out of an apartment window on a piece of rope as a prank by his pals.

Victim Slawomir Szymanski, 44, had been at a drunken party in Lodz, Poland, when his friends told him to go and buy some crisps and snacks.

But instead of taking the lift, the drunken guests tied a rope around their pal's waist and tried to lower him eight floors to the ground.

Neighbour Marcin Sander said: "I was making a cup of tea when I saw a man’s body fall past my window."

"I rushed down but he was already dead," he added.

Police spokesman Joanna Kack said: Two people are being questioned. We are investigating to see if he accidentally fell or if he was dropped."
