University officials in Tainjin, northern China, turned their hall into an impromptu campsite for anxious parents of new students after they couldn't find rooms at local hotels and guesthouses.
In China parents frequently go to the first week on campus with their children, who may have travelled hundreds of miles across the country to find the right course or college.
So staff at Tainjin University set up rows of tents in the sports hall when parents complained they couldn't find anywhere to stay.
"They've been very thoughtful and they didn't even charge us rent," said one mum.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
