Organisers of the world's biggest Golden Wedding party breathed a sigh or relief in Wuxi, eastern China, when 50 couples survived remaking their marriage vows.
The couples - all in their 70s - each had their own medical minder to make sure they made it through their big day.
"Weddings are a lot of stress and these people are no longer young and fit.
"We just wanted to make sure they got through the day and stayed healthy," said one organiser of the event in Jiangsu province.
"What they did on the wedding night, well that's up to them and their doctor," they added.
