It might look like some kind of high-powered superbike from the Mad max movies.
But look closer and you'll see that this bizarre creation - dreamed up by engineer Zhang Yali - gets by solely on pedal power.
"I love cycles, the weirder the better and I wanted something that looked mean but didn't harm the environment," he explained from his workshop in Jilin province, northern China.
"It might look like a motorbike and it has some car parts in it but the only engine is in my legs," explained Zhang.
But when he gets tired of life in the slow lane, Zhang can call on some turbo power by strapping eight pals into the bike's spare seats, which all come with pedals.
"Working all together we can get up a pretty good speed," he said.
