This policeman dug his own grave in southern China when a truck he forced to swerve out of the way lost his load of tons of earth on top of his patrol car.
Paramedics in Chongqing city say the driver died instantly when he was crushed by the rubble.
"The police car came up behind me very quickly with his sirens and lights flashing and forced me to pull over," said trucker Wen Hu
"But I had to turn to sharply that my load shifted and pulled me right over onto the truck's side," he added.
