Rail Lucky

This driver was wheely lucky to escape after she ended up on train tracks in her car after following directions on her sat nav in Bonn, Germany.

Maria Koller, 53, was crossing train tracks at a level crossing when her sat nav told her to take the next right - instead of waiting to the next turn she quickly turned right straight onto the train tracks.

Koller then ended up stuck.

Luckily for Koller the approaching train saw her and made an emergency stop, coming to a standstill just metres form her car.

She told police: "My sat nav told me I should turn right. I just followed it as I didn't know where I was going but I reacted too quickly. Thank goodness the train driver was alert."
