Dog Training

croatiantimes.com

Heart-broken Hu Lin was forced to sell his beloved pet dog at a railway station when train officials banned him from taking it on board.

Migrant worker Hu was travelling 500 miles from Jinhua, Zhejiang province, eastern China, to his family home in Hunan province to celebrate the Chinese new year.

"I've had my dog for a year and he's a real friend to me. I knew I couldn't take him on the train but I couldn't just abandon him," he explained.

First Hu tried to smuggle the pooch on board as his lunch, hidden inside a foam food container, but was was rumbled when Fin started barking.

Then he tried selling Fin to passers by and finally persuaded a local shop owner to pay 20 GBP for him.

"I felt happier knowing that if I couldn't keep him at least he was going to a good home," said Wu.
