The online hotel-price comparison site http://www.trivago.co.uk has compared hotel ratings at the most-popular European beach destinations.
According to the site’s research, Dubrovnik is one of the five beach destinations with the most-popular hotels in the Mediterranean area. Dubrovnik’s 47 reviewed hotels have an average rating of 78.77 points.
The five-star Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik helps the Dalmatian harbour city with 326 good and very good reviews that have an average of 89 of 100 possible points on the trivago evaluation scale.
The online price-comparison site trivago has analysed the most-popular beach destinations for the first time, surveying the 50 most-popular European beach destinations in 2009. The analysis took into consideration over 380,000 reviews of more than 4,000 hotels.
Hotels in Belek on the Turkish Riviera received the highest overall ratings from travellers.
