Kras redesigns its Bajadera brand

Croatian Times

Kras, one of Croatia's most-popular manufacturers of confectionery products, has redesigned†† its most-popular brand, "Bajadera," after 20 years.

Bajadera chocolate, one of Krasís best-known brands on the Croatian market, was last† redesigned in 1989.

Bruketa & Zinic marketing agency is responsible for the new packaging.

Kras said its aim was not drastic change but a modern Bajadera. It added consumers' reactions had been positive.

New designs are one of the way domestic manufacturers of confectionery products are competing against foreign producers who have a 50 per cent share of the Croatian market.

Bajadera is the first Croatian confectionery product to be granted the "Croatian Creation" label. It combines fine nougat and almonds that give it a unique flavour. It has been on the market for 54 years.
