"Rent-a Husband" man a hit in Zagreb

Croatian Times

A man in Croatia who ran a "rent-a-husband" ad after being fired from his job as a carpenter has started a website to advertise his growing business.

Igor Radinovic, 43, from capital Zagreb, said his hands were full with job offers from single moms, divorced women and women who just do not have the time or a man to help them with household repairs.

The idea for the ad came from his ex-wife, now a good friend, who told him when he complained to her about the loss of his job to hire himself out.

"You know how to do everything," she said.

Radinovic fixes broken pipes, moves furniture, carries bags from the grocery store, walks pets and drinks coffee with lonely elderly ladies, all for 120 kuna (16.5 Euros) for the first hour and 70 kuna (10 Euros) for each subsequent hour.

His client Marica Deris said that Radinovic was a repairman who had made her laugh and she would recommend him to all "single ladies," the Croatian daily Vecernji List has reported.

You can find more information about his services at www.iznajmljujem-muza.com
