Brodosplit shipyard delivers giant orange juice carrier
Croatian Times
Croatian shipyard Brodosplit in the Adriatic port of Split has delivered the biggest ever "orange juice carrier" to Swiss company Atlanship.
The 190 metres long and 32 metres wide ship named Orange Star has the capacity of 35,750 tonnes.
Authorities in Brodosplit were proud of the project as such sophisticated ships were in the past only built in Norway.
It is believed that the new project could gain Brodosplit a reputation as a producer of modern and advanced ships.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
Representatives of the Governments of Croatia, Montenegro, Albania, and Bosnia and Herzegovina signed a memorandum highlighting their intention to construct two new pipelines - the Trans-Adriatic (Trans Adriatic Pipeline, TAP) and the Ionian-Adriatic (Ionian Adriatic Pipeline, IAP), the news agency RIA Novosti reports.
