Dubrovnik to work with German town to attract Chinese tourists

Croatian Times

Bad Homburg in Germany, because of its close proximity to Frankfurt airport which has over 70 flights a week to China, are interested in working with the Dalmatian tourist city of Dubrovnik on developing tourism for the growing Chinese market.

Dubrovnik Mayor Andro Vlahusic will present the initiative in Venice during the UNESCO cultural heritage cities' convention after a meeting between Vlahusic and the Mayor of Bad Homburg Michael Korwisi, and humanitarian Olga Stoss, the winner of the City of Dubrovnik award for charitable involvement.

Croatian daily newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija reported that continued cooperation between the two cities, with fire brigade exchanges, summer student schools and student exchanges, still taking place.
