Croatia Airlines signs deal with U.S Airways

Croatia Airlines, Croatia's national carrier, and American airline U.S. Airways, have signed a code share agreement on cooperation in the transport of passengers between Croatia and the United States, reports website politikaplus.

Croatia Airlines and U.S. Airways announced on Thursday a new bilateral agreement on joint flight designations, having obtained the approval of the Croatian Agency for Civil Aviation and Ministry of Transport of the United States.

Croatia Airlines Passengers under this agreement will now have better access to destinations in the United States. Passengers traveling with Croatia Airlines from Zagreb via Amsterdam, Brussels, Frankfurt, London (Heathrow), Munich and Zurich, now have access to Charlotte and Philadelphia, U.S. Airways' hubs on the east coast of the United States. Croatia Airlines will also have its code on U.S. Airways flights within the U.S. and from Philadelphia to Cleveland, Dallas / Fort-Worth and St. Louis.

"We believe that cooperation with U.S. Airways will bring a new quality level of service for passengers in both continents. Passengers will now have more favorable conditions for travel between Croatia and the United States through major European hubs," - said Tonko Rilovic, CEO of Croatia Airlines Sales and Marketing division.
