Construction in Croatia falling fast

Latest figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics indicate that the economy in Croatia is stagnate with only 568 permits for construction issued in the month of June, reports Croatian radiotelevision.
The poor June, with just over 560 permits issued, is 23.9 per cent less than were issued in June 2011, and continues the falling trend in building permits issued in Croatia this year.
In the first half of 2012, the number of permits issued fell by as much as 14 per cent compared to last year. Most permits issued so far this year relate to housing construction.
