Croatia to get a new daily newspaper
Croatian Times
Croatia is set to get a new daily newspaper.
And despite details being scarce, speculation is that the new daily will be led by publishing industry insider Marjan Jurelka.
He is said to have signed an agreement for new offices in the Vjesnik skyscraper in Zagreb, which previously belonged to the now bankrupt government-owned daily Vjesnik newspaper.
The new daily is expected to be launched before the end of the year.
Mr Jurleka previously held key positions at two of Croatia’s largest daily newspapers, Vecernji List and Jutarnji List.
He was also a spokesman for Croatian Telecom and at the American Embassy in Zagreb.
