Pescara to link up with Croatian islands Vis and Hvar

The Italian port of Pescara is looking to link up with the Croatian islands of Vis and Hvar via a new catamaran speed line.
Mayor of Komiza on the island of Vis, Tonka Ivcevic, visited Pescara to discuss the possibilities.
Both sides see the line across the Adriatic not only good for tourists, but also for developing economic relations, especially with Croatia joining the European Union on 1 July this year.
