Wrong-way driver on motorway eludes the police

Police are searching for the man who turned around on the Karlovac-Zagreb motorway and started driving in the wrong direction this morning (Fri).
Police know only that the man was driving a red Scoda Fabia car with Djakovo license plates, the daily 24 sata has reported.
The man was driving towards Zagreb when he arrived at new toll booths in Demerje at 9:30am and just turned around and started driving in the same lanes towards Karlovac.
Other drivers called police in panic to inform them about the wrong-way driver. After the man realised he was driving in the wrong direction, he turned around again and started driving towards Zagreb.
The police tried to find the car, but the man eluded them.
Two people died, and two were severely injured in an accident on 22 June caused by wrong-way driving on the motorway.
