Three Romanians detained for theft in Croatia

Three Romanian citizens have been detained in Dubrovnik for a series of thefts.

Rusalin Sava, 29, his wife Mihaela, 21, and Adrian Romano, 42, have been arrested for thefts in Dubrovnik and the southern Adriatic port of Ploce. They are suspected of having stolen mobile phones, watches and golden necklaces in several shops.

Police have found stolen goods worth some 20,000 Euros in their possession and will return them to their rightful owners.

Dubrovnik is a well-known Croatian resort that is often visited by world celebrities.
