False bomb alarm at Zagreb´s main square.
Croatian Times
Zagreb police blocked the centre of the city this morning (Fri) after discovery of a strange package at Trg bana Jelacica, the city’s main square.
The police even stopped tram traffic for a time because of security measures.
National television has reported that bomb-disposal experts called to the scene found that the package’s contents were not dangerous.
Traffic quickly returned to normal, but police are continuing to investigate the incident.
