Former Finance Minister Borislav Skegro may be the new Croatian minister of economy.
Skegro met with Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor today (Fri) but refused to comment what about they had talked about.
The daily Jutarnji list has reported that he will probably be the future minister of economy or government vice president. Ministers have refused to comment about those rumours.
Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Damir Polancec resigned last week after being suspected of having been involved in a scandal at Podravka food company in Koprivnica. Firms officials are suspected of having misused company shares.
Polancec was also minister of economy.
