Murder suspect Bojan Guduric turns himself in to Sarajevo police

Croatian Times

Murder suspect Bojan Guduric turned himself in to police in Sarajevo last night (Mon/Tues).

He is suspected of having been involved in the murder of Ivo Pukanic, the publisher and co-owner of the weekly Nacional, and of Niko Franjic, Nacional’s marketing director, in October 2008 in Zagreb.

Guduric, 29, is a Serb citizen and reportedly was a member of a Novi Sad criminal group suspected of many robberies.

He was the only missing suspect in a car-bomb explosion in the company's courtyard on Vlaska Street in the centre of Zagreb.

The Croatian Ministry of Interior was ready to pay 100,000 kunas or 13,500 Euros for information leading to Guduric’s arrest.

It is unknown when he will be extradited to Croatia.

Guduric turned himself in just a day before the beginning of the trial of five others suspects in the case, Robert and Luka Matanic, Amir Mafalanij,  Zeljko Milovanovic and Slobodan Djurovic.
