A female single parent has to return child-support money to her ex-husband because he has a new wife and new children to take care of.
Split County court ruled that the unemployed woman needs to return to her ex-husband 10,000 kunas or 1,367 Euros.
Her ex-husband’s new wife has two children, and he asked the court to reduce his child-support payments from 1,500 (205 Euros) to 1,000 kunas (136 Euros) a month for his 10-year-old son from the first marriage.
He cited his new life and the impossibility of paying 1,500 kunas in child-support any more. In 2008, he started the court proceedings that ended yesterday (Tues).
His ex-wife needs to return the money she has received from him since 2008.
