Austrian diplomat suspected of having beaten his wife
Croatian Times
An Austrian diplomat in Croatia is suspected of having beaten his French wife.
Croatian weekly Globus has revealed that Sylvie Madeleine told police in capital Zagreb that her husband, Austrian diplomat Michael Kainz, had beaten her in front of their three kids.
The paper added that the woman had sought medical treatment at Rebro hospital in Zagreb.
Police cannot do much since Kainz enjoys diplomatic immunity.
