Man receives zero kuna telephone bill
Croatian Times
A man from the Dalmatian hinterland was unpleasant surprised and shocked when he received a Croatian T-Mobile telephone bill saying he was obligated to pay zero kunas.
He was even more surprised when he saw there was a deadline by which he needed to pay the bill.
The man decided to tell his story to the daily Slobodna Dalmacija to warn other Croats about the absurd situations they could be faced with.
He said: "So, what now? Should I go to the post office and pay zero kunas, or will I receive a warning if I do not pay the zero kunas bill?"
The man said he was not asking for an apology from T-Mobile but only asking it to be more careful in the future.
An answer came from T-Mobile. In its explanation to the daily, it said it had to bill users regardless of the amount they owed. The client did not need to pay his zero kuna bill but could keep it in his bill file, it added.
