Parliament is looking for a new spokesman
Croatian Times
Croatian Parliament President Luka Bebic announced today (Thurs) that there would be an open competition for a Parliament spokesman who would present its work better in public.
Bebic said MPs believed their work and Parliament’s activities had not been presented well enough to the public, and he blamed the Croatian media in part for that.
Bebic added that the new spokesman should be a journalist.
He also dismissed allegation that the move meant that Parliament’s public relations work had been bad. Bebic added that MPs just wanted to have someone who would represent them properly in public.
The competition, announced on 15 March, will be open for eight days.
