All Zagreb residents are invited to help clean Jarun Lake

In response to World Day for Water celebrated on 22 March, an initiative to clean Zagreb’s Lake Jarun will occur tomorrow (Sat).
The organizer, Zagreb scuba club Mar-Sub, is calling on all city residents to join them in their 10th ecological action that will be held under the slogan "clean water – healthier world".
The action starts at 11am at Big Jarun Lake.
The lake, situated in the southwestern part of Zagreb, was turned from a forgotten swampy area into a sporting-recreational centre.
The Jarun section of the city has a large lake and a small lake, and both are constantly filled with clean subterranean water, the quality of which is checked on a regular basis.
