Youth of HDZ 1990 leader arrested for drug trade

Zvonko Peric, Acting President of the Youth of Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) 1990 and a member of the party, was arrested with more than 25 kilograms of a marijuana strain known as "skunk."

The arrest took place at 2am this morning (Tue) in Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina) during the handover of the drugs. Three more people from Stolac and Capljina, as well as two Montenegrin residents and one from Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) were also arrested.

A confidential source has told the Croatian daily Vecernji List that a high school teacher from Stolac was also arrested. The value of the confiscated marijuana is estimated at 200,000 Euros.
