Wife attacks cops to prevent hubby´s arrest

Two police officers in Trogir (Dalmatia) were attacked by a raging wife after they tried to arrest her husband.
Melanie R.R., 33, laid into the officers when they tried to arrest drunk husband Jandre, 38, after being called to the couple’s house by neighbours complaining about loud music.
But when they turned up at the house at around 11pm on Sunday they were met by boozed up Jandre who started yelling insults at the officers.
As they attempted to place him under arrest they were attacked by the wife, who hit one in the stomach before scratching the other in the face and trying to strangle him.
The couple were both arrested and now face charges of assault.
