UK's Europe Minister in Croatia
Croatian Times
The UK’s Minister for Europe David Lidington is currently in Croatia, where he is meeting with representatives of the Croatian Government, Parliament and civil society, reports the British embassy website in Croatia.
Lidington is in the country to learn more about Croatia's progess as it heads towards meeting its commitments before entering the European Union on 1 July 2013.
The Minister, who finishes his official visit today (Tuesday), is also interested in discussing the EU perspectives of the region and how the UK and Croatia can continue to work together bilaterally and at the EU and international level, on which there are many opportunities for the two countries to cooperate.
