Life's a beach for Dogs in Rijeka

A beach equipped especially for dogs has opened in the city of Rijeka on Croatia's Adriatic sea. The shingle beach at Brajdica has opened this season and is the second beach in the city that is designed for dogs and their owners, reports daily newspaper Novi list.
The beach, which has a sign indicating that it is a "Dog beach", has a litter bin, a shower and flexible tubing for washing dogs and a bench.
"It is the first time we are here, we heard that the beach was nice, but it is even nicer than we thought, first class," said Velimir Glavan, who visited the beach with his son, daughter and five month old American Stafford terrier.
