Train crash in Croatia

A service train with 12 employees from the Remont firm on board has crashed into an empty freight wagon on Wednesday in Perusic (Lika-Senj County), injuring all 12, including two seriously, reported daily newspaper 24sata.
As the train approached the station in Perusic it is unclear still if there was a brake failure as instead of stopping at the station the train speed up. The workers were thrown to the floor before the collision happened.
The ten injured men walked out of the train but the two men who were seriously injured remained stranded in the train. The two men were taken to the traumatology clinic in Zagreb.
The maximum speed of the service train is 80 kilometers per hour. Locals praised the emergency team who were at the scene within six minutes of the accident.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
