'WOW Croatia' producer back in the place she loves

Croatian Times

American television journalist and producer Ashley Colburn, who won a prestigious Emmy Award for her documentary "WOW Croatia," is back in the country she fell in love with, reports rtl television.

Thanks to her documentary about Croatia, which was filmed in 2009 and watched by over 10 million families in America, Colburn conquered the film industry and travelled the world, but her favourite place is still Croatia says the 25-year-old producer.

"Wherever I go in the world, Croatia will always have a special place," said Colburn who is currently holidaying in Istria.

Colburn also says that more and more Americans will come to Croatia once they get a clear understanding how beautiful it is here.

"Alot of films are being filmed in Croatia, I think "Missing" with Ashley Judd was filmed in Hvar and "Game of Thrones" in Dubrovnik," added Ashley.

Colburns life has changed since she produced the WOW Croatia documentary, she now owns her own production company and has a number of projects under construction.
