Croatian students become worlds top online marketers

A four-member team of Croatian students from the Faculty of Economics in the eastern Croatian city of Osijek have beaten more than 11,000 students from 86 countries around the world to be placed in the top 15 per cent in the Google Online Marketing Challenge (GOMC) organised by the American internet giants.
Marin Loncar, Marina Obsivac, Igor Juric and Zoran Selinger were required to make an online marketing campaign using the Google AdWords programme, which would enable companies ads to be displayed in a fast and easy way, reported website.hr.
"The fact that we are amongst the top 15 per cent of students in the world, and the best team in Croatia is definitely something we are proud of. Even bigger success is the experienced and knowledge we gained working with the AdWords system, which will be in increasing demand in the work force in the future," said Loncar.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
