An 80-year-old pensioner who taught Hollywood star Robert Redford to fish has completed an 80 metre diving project to highlight the need for ecological protection of the Adriatic sea.
Bozo Dimnik, who says he taught Redford after meeting him in New Zealand during filming of A River Runs, completed the 80/80 dive over an old shipwreck between the islands of Mali Losinj and Pag in the northern Adriatic.
""Everything went great. The weather conditions were ideal, too," he told local media adding the name 80/80 came from his age and the depth he dived to.
