Split cops make arrest in murder of Mexican tourist

A homeless 28-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of Mexican tourist Selene Margarit Graciano Macedo.
Her battered remains were found dumped in a ditch in Marjan park, four days after she was reported missing on August 22. Split police say Macedo, 31, was in Croatia at the end of a three month European tour with her brother.
The homeless man who is being held in custody is said to be known to the police for minor offences.

Croatia to take part in building two pipelines
