Australia approves extradition of Dragan Vasiljkovic
Croatian Times
Australia has agreed to extradite accused war criminal Dragan Vasiljkovic to Croatia to face questioning over charges of ordering his troops to torture and kill captured members of the Croatian Army and Police between June and July 1991.
Australian Home Affairs Minister Jason Clare said Vasiljkovic had lost his two year battle in trying to convince the government to let him stay.
Vasiljkovic who is also known as Daniel Snedden and Captain Dragan is now expected to appeal against the decision.
